Lead stearate

1. Description of Lead Stearate

It is slight white powder with specific gravity 1.323. It can slight dissolved in ethanol and ether, but not in water. It will become to glue after cooled when being heated in the organic solvent, but to stearate when the decomposed in strong acid and can absorb moisture in air.

Used in opaqye products
