It is used mainly as a solvent to remove greaase from metal parts, but it is also an ingredient in adhesives, paint

Applications of Trichloroethylene TCE:

(2). Trichloroethylene can be used as an anesthetic agent for the synthesis of a chlorine acid (a pesticide intermediate).
(3). Trichloroethylene can be used as extractant in the production process of caprolactam; it can be used to produce asphalt.
(4). Trichloroethylene can be used for chemical cleaning, industrial fat, chemical raw materials;
