Description of Potassium Silicate:

Potassium silicate is the name for a family of inorganic compounds. These are white solids or colorless solutions. (Solid) Weight ratio Si O 2: K 2 O varies with grade from 2.1:1 to 2.5:1; colorless anhydrous lump, shattered or granular. Soluble in water at high temperature and pressure; insoluble in alco- hol. (Solution) Colorless liquid, B′e range 29–48 degrees.

Applications of Potassium Silicate :

1. Potassium silicate products are mainly used in welding, detergents, refractory materials, construction materials production, but also for a variety of coating binder.
2. Potassium silicate can also be used for corrosion aspects: potassium silicate clay, potassium silicate mortar paving block material surface layer can be used for ground, pit, trench lining equipment base surface and pools, slot.
