MDI has low volatility, low toxicity and high activity, which can give polyurethane products good mechanical properties. However,
pure MDI is solid at room temperature and unstable, which brings inconvenience to application. Liquefied MDI can be prepared by
carbonizing diimide modification of solid MDI. Carbonized diimide modified MDI is not only easy to use, but also can improve the
hydrolysis resistance and flame retardant of polyurethane products. It has been widely used in the fields of soft foam, hard foam,
semi-hard foam and elastomer of polyurethane.

Applications of Carbodiimide Modified MDI:
MDI is widely used in the production of PU rigid insulation foams and polyiso cyanurate foams.Other uses include paints,
adhesives, sealants, structural foa ms, microcellular integral skin foams, automotive bumper and interior parts, high-resilience foams and synthetic wood .
